Simone worked with us to help us plan (and keep under-wraps) our surprise wedding. Simone was organised for the ceremony, helped us with writing our vows, and was patient as we went back and forth deciding between possible witnesses (who didn’t know we were getting married yet!). As most of our guests come from a Catholic background, most had not experienced a celebrant ceremony before and they really enjoyed it. Our guests loved how short yet personal the ceremony was compared to the usual church wedding. It really gave our guests an understanding of the love and life myself and Anthony share. The most memorable part of the ceremony was the moment that I came down the aisle and the look on Anthony’s face. We loved the way you greeted our guests and made them feel so welcome and special to us. A lot of our guests mentioned this to us on the night of the wedding. To be completely honest there is not a thing I would request that you change about the way that you conduct yourself, before, after and during the ceremony. From the moment we first met I could tell how excited you were about being a celebrant and how you really loved meeting new couples and hearing their stories. I always felt that you were interested in what myself and Anthony had to say and took on our feedback to make the ceremony our own.

When choosing a celebrant to conduct our ceremony, it was really important to me that he or she understood who Matt and I were as a couple, and as a person, was someone that we would normally make friends with, and enjoy the company of. Simone, from the first day we met you, both Matt and I knew you were the right person to marry us, you presented yourself as a relaxed and caring person who listened to who we are as a couple and could write a ceremony to reflect us as a couple capturing all our guests emotions in a short space of time. On the day we all listened and smiled as we reflected on our story, we laughed and felt a sense of warmth as you helped remind our guests how important they are in our lives, and held back an emotional tear as Dakota received her story so far in a Pandora. At all times communication was great, pricing was very reasonable and nothing was too difficult for you, even the travel out to Tangled Maze for the wedding rehearsal. Your flexibility with times was also very helpful due to the fact of both of us working. Simone, you stepped into our life as a stranger; through your understanding and acceptance of Matt and I, as a couple, and delivery of our wedding ceremony, we have embraced you as part of our story and look forward to meeting up again in the future. We will highly recommend you to anyone planning to marry wanting a personalised service, from somebody who genuinely cares and a very enjoyable wedding day without any fuss (for the ceremony at least)
